HR hypothesis about Online Recruitment

In the recent world online recruitment has been available at a single click of a button for people looking to secure good jobs in order to save a considerable amount of time now. There are various views and opinions regarding usage of website of recruitment agency for the sake of online recruitment, even HR theories have been developed about online recruitment. The theories advocate the pros and cons of these internet based recruitment agencies.

HR theories states that: It is the trend that will be accepted all over globe in the near future as, qualified worker and satisfactory opportunities and good salaries are available at the click within seconds; these sites have been an immediate strike among everyone. Traditionally, the employers advertise for skilled workers on newspapers which take some time and a lot of money to get published. After this, there must be many rounds of interviews and constant reviewing of applications before an appointment is made. This must be repeated for each job vacancy which makes the entire process fatiguing.

These theories also predict that online recruitment can save a lot of time. One can extract only applications that pass the qualifying criteria within minutes. The HR representative of a company can contact the applicants directly or indirectly approach them through the referral sites. In old traditional method the person might be contacted at that time when he has been working in another company since last couple of months.

Though there are many positive reviews about online recruitment agencies like Harrogate Recruitment, still some theories in HR show that it is not 100% satisfactory. It is the common belief among HR representatives that very few employees are inclined to use these online services and a lot of aggressive demonstration and advertisements are required to bring these sites to the main stream and to increase the traffic to these sites. The biggest disadvantage of online procedure is that when money is spent on a certain candidates with a good resume, at times, the person is below satisfactory in the real interview.
