The Future of Web 3.0 According to Yahoo!

After the great success of Web 2.0.Now Yahoo is going to launch another platform i.e Web 3.0  for all web developers, designers etc.. The future of Web 3.0 is seems to be degentic and bright for todays  IT professionals.

"It is open source, hacker attitude has been part of our culture for so long; now we're opening up the different pieces,".The mission of Service Web 3.0 is to provide roadmaps for various target groups, organise and coordinate standardisation activities for users.

Y!OS 1.0 launched this week with the introduction of the social suite. Its strategy focuses on opening up almost everything to developers, including content, traffic, and Yahoo's user base.

Y!OS: Which makes simple things for Developer's

When asked what type of data will be available to developers, Hughes-Croucher said that Yahoo's strength is in historical data which can be accessed, assessed, and used to make the user experience better.

To make things simple for everyday developers, the Yahoo! duo told the audience they are concentrating on APIs for sites like Flickr and Delicious. "Of course, there are other technologies, like Yahoo! Query Language (YQL), the next generation of Yahoo Pipes, that brings ease of use to query language," says Hughes-Croucher.

Y!OS: Is Open and Social For Developer's

Not only is Yahoo! becoming more open, it's also becoming more social. If you're not familiar with it, Yahoo! Profiles offers a centralized control panel that lets users manage their social connections across Yahoo, and eventually across the Web.

"The key part of the Profiles launch is that unlike FaceBook, it will make very specific connections to the people that are important in your life," says Hughes-Croucher."

Profiles is only the first stage of Yahoo's Open Strategy. "It will let you start making social connections, and in the coming months you'll see other things," said Beckett.

So we can say that Yahoo is a poineer search engine who always introduce new and powerful tools in different useful products in the market. This "Web 3.0" is another platform specially for the IT professionals.

7 Ways To Learned About Twitter

I've been involved with Twitter for approximately 1 month now, and I've learned a few things that have enabled me to use Twitter very effectively:

1. You need to have a clear and concise vision how you're going to use Twitter. You need to know going in exactly what you want from Twitter. Are you going to use Twitter as a serious business tool, or for casual, social purposes? What is your end game?

2. You can use Twitter anyway you like. You can use it to build a mailing list - to announce specials or discounts - to take surveys - to announce new blog posts. Brick and mortar stores can use it to pre-take orders for pickup, like one coffee shop is doing. Authors can use it to post book excerpts.
3. Twitter works. In the approximately 4 weeks I've been using Twitter, I've increased my affiliate sales and my traffic. I've made invaluable business contacts and a few friends.

4. It isn't necessary to follow thousands of people to get the most out of Twitter. You can if you want to of course, but in my opinion, following that many people is counter-productive. Besides, it's impossible to follow thousands of people and actually read what each one of them has to say.

5. The people who are the most successful on Twitter give value. Be it business tips, articles, free reports, free software downloads, etc. They spend the majority of their time giving value, and helping others. They don't bombard their followers with spam, and they don't spend the majority of their time talking about what they had for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

6. You have to participate. Get involved in conversations. Even if no one responds to you everytime, people do take notice of who participates and who sits on the sidelines. If someone tweets something you like and you think others would like it as well, retweet (RT) it to your followers.

7. Reach out to others. Even though I'm new to Twitter, I've already reached out to people who can help me get to where I want to go. For example, I've reached out to one lady who is a PR expert, and is constantly being interviewed on national television. I've also reached out to a blogger with a national radio show and 100,000 followers. A few people have reached out to me as well. Reach out!

Graphics is a Crucial Components of Web Design

You can have a functional and usable website without graphic elements. However, if there are similar sites to yours that employ graphics, guess which site will get the most traffic. The necessary companions to any well-designed site are the images and illustrations that grace its pages. The images can't be any willy-nilly graphic that you might think is cool. Graphic imagery has to support your branding, and communicate the message you are trying to convey. Before you incorporate graphic elements into your site, take some time to look around the web. Notice what looks good and how elements are laid out.
These same layouts techniques can be used as models for your site.
The Internet is a highly competitive business arena. To be successful with a commercial website, you have to keep these crucial web design elements in mind. Contrary to what many will tell you, it is rarely possible to have commercial success without the benefit of a professional website. This is not to say that you must hire a professional, however you must implement professional design elements to improve your chances for success.
